If you are burning the ISO to CD, read https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BurningIsoHowto. That might help you get started. Make sure you get the right Ubuntu desktop/server versionfor your processor (Piii would be i386 so get ubuntu-<version>-desktop-i386.iso from one of the local mirror).
