Multimedia with ubuntu / kdenlive

There's another non-linear video editing program I found, called
Jahshaka<http://jahshaka.org>.
I tried to install it, but the only .deb package they have is for Dapper
Drake. The screenshots look promising, but I haven't managed to get it
working properly. Anyone used this program?
