INX = Is Not X

INX is a small (184 MB download), fully functioning live distro based on
Ubuntu 7.04, designed to work without X, the graphical interface. It shows
some of the 'cool stuff' you can do in a terminal.

You will find links to a full description, a series of screenshots and the
download URL at http://inx.maincontent.net

In summary, INX will give the novice Linux user an easy and practical,
hands-on introduction to the command line and provide more advanced users
with the possibility to enhance their present command line skills as well as
the opportunity to assist by providing ideas for further development.

As a Live CD it can also be used for system rescue.

An installer script to install INX to a single hard drive is in development
- for further information contact Peter Garrett at inx-one at optusnet.com.au -
subject line "INX Installer".

INX also runs flawlessly installed in VirtualBox making it easy to access
directly from your Ubuntu desktop.

Download and try it today!

If you live in Australia and would like a copy of the INX disk but are
unable to download it because you have a dial-up connection, please indicate
your interest by responding to this message on-list.

Cheers,
Andre
