I did the command you suggested above ( $ cat /etc/papersize ) and the
reply was:
a4
Does that mean that I don't need to do any further commands???
I just checked OpenOffice 2.3 Writer program and when I select Printer
properties I only get to option of "Letter" paper size and no others to
choose from!
If your output from "cat /etc/papersize" in a terminal doesn't look like
