That could well be the case ... applicable to items over a certain value.

It may still be the most effective, as well as cost-effective way of getting
the new Eee PC.

Ring the Australian Customs Service and ask them.

You might even be able to buy one from Asus direct ... they are just up the
road, you know.  Saves sending it to the US first.

Think outside of the box.
