Centrino 2 notebook pre loaded with Ubuntu

Does anyone know why Dell Australia wasn't offering Ubuntu with their
built-to-order boxes like their American counterparts? It puzzled me to no
end. < tangent> And why can't I buy a computer with nothing but a DOS
installed??</ tangent>
