Hi Stuart
Actually, outlook express would by default sent through the email account the
mail was received in. My experience with thunderbird was that you had to edit
the outgoing server in order to send via another email account which was a
real pain, esp. since various email lists I'm on expect the mails from
certain addresses. At least oulook was set and forget in that respect, i.e.
you set up each server just once and regarldless of the account received on,
it would by default send via that accounts smtp server. About my only gripe
with various opensource clients I've tried so far. Well, Sylpheed Claws used
to crash when downloading mails at times and ended up swaping to kmail as a
stable client at the time and at that point in time there was no answer in
sight. Maybe it too has improved since the time I used it
