Thanks for your response Andre. I had a look at your link but it is not
applicable to my equipment as my modem is not a router and only has one
connection for an RJ45 plug. I have my unit wired as per directions as
and this was checked by the tech at My Netfone who agreed the wiring was
okay. I need to force Ubuntu to look for 10.1.1.1 only I feel but I can
find a permanent way of doing that.
