Hi James

You probably want to try the Super Grub disc, which can fix pretty much 
any windows/grub boot issues.

Also if the box just runs windows, you can boot from the XP disc and 
select the option for recovery console. From there you can run FIXMBR or 
FIXBOOT commands.
