Greetings,
After a little bit of debate..I have created a public google calender
for 'ubuntu-au' events.. eg. meetings, mainly so that I don't have to
keep asking the channel.. 'Did I miss the meeting?'
The following link will take you to the calender (HTML)
http://www.google.com/calendar/embed?src=7o7321bsevgoj95sqeqeiu8fu8%40group.calendar.google.com
also XML:

and iCAL:
http://www.google.com/calendar/ical/7o7321bsevgoj95sqeqeiu8fu8%40group.calendar.google.com/public/basic.ics
(Google has cute icons for these)
For our web developers..the following code creates a button that will
allow easy subscription.
<a target="_blank"
href="http://www.google.com/calendar/render?cid=7o7321bsevgoj95sqeqeiu8fu8%40group.calendar.google.com"><img
src="http://www.google.com/calendar/images/ext/gc_button1_en.gif"
border=0></a>
There is also the options for obtaining code for 'iframes' of the
calender and agenda, which can be obtained from from the google
website.

Again, this was mainly for me, so I know when meeting were going to
be, but making it public. I have invited Elkbuntu also be allowed to
add events and change the callender, but there is no reason why other
people can't be allows to do this as well..
Happy to discuss at the next meeting, if I remember to look at my calender.
Cheers,
