Mouse problems

I have been having problems with a streaky screen after a period of non 
use. Eg log out then back in after a few hours. I am reasonably sure it 
is the mouse. (Logitech wheel mouse). Also trying ot select some text or 
click on a link the screen jumps around sometimes (until I click a few 
times and then back to normal).  Nothing drastic but annoying. I have 
done a quick google search on ubuntu and mouse problems but found 
nothing specific. Any ideas?


Also is anyone using the SYMBOL accounting software? I am thinking of 
installing it for my business.
