Firestarter error

After I installed firestarter on a ubuntu 6.06,it is saying the following
error

(firestarter:11224): Gdk-WARNING **: locale not supported by Xlib

(firestarter:11224): Gdk-WARNING **: cannot set locale modifiers
Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: No protocol specified


(firestarter:11224): Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display:

and it is not opening.Please help
