au.archive.ubuntu.com slow as .... ?

My connection is pretty much the same way. I have experienced apparent
missing files and very slow speeds, 20KB/s instead of 160KB/s. I have
been editing my sources.list to remove the au. prefix to fix the
problem. I will check out the pacific mirror though.
