Call me naive, but one would hope the primary concern of educators is
the freedom and ability to learn of the children they educate, and not
kowtowing to proprietary software vendors.
Or is this me being a "raging idealist" again?
I have three young children, one who is rapidly coming up to the end of
her first year at primary school. I've got no concerns about the
technology education she'll receive at home from both daddy and mummy
dearest. I worry about the other 500 students in her school, and
millions Australia wide, after seeing some of the technology ignorance
out there first hand this year.
