Removable drives

No you don't.  All removable hard drives that present themselves as USB 
Mass Storage devices will work.  What they mean is that they won't 
support it.  The "One Touch" button probably won't work, though.

Plug it into your Ubuntu machine and see.  I suspect it'll work just 
fine.
