Hi *nixers

I just wanted to introduce myself to the list and let you know that I am 
lurking in the backround.

I live in western Vic (200km from Melb)and have a disability which keeps 
me at home more often than not, which affects the distance I can travel.

I am a newbie to linux but have done a CertIV Info Tech through the 
local Tafe and I am fed up with M$ crap and wish to have my systems 
running pure linux (Ubuntu) and open source programs hopefully by the 
end of the year.
