Greetings,

It's now 2 weeks until LCA, and I don't know about you, but I'm getting
quite excited about it.

We (Ubuntu-Au) has managed to organise a booth for Open Day (still
looking for volunteer confirmations -- so far it's at iirc 3). We'll be
imparting CDs, stickers and hopefully some brochures upon peoples there,
and of course running demos.

There was a suggestion a while back and several times since but I don't
think it was ever really verbalised, that Ubuntu-Au should have a nice
informal gathering one night. I think Wednesday the 17th (the day before
the Open Day) is probably as good a time as any especially for people
coming to the Open Day only. The idea is to involve *everyone* even if
they're not attending LCA, so

Where should we do this? It's preferable to keep it close to the UNSW
Kensington Campus, for the sake of people staying there. I'm thinking
maybe dinner somewhere, so even underage people can come.

Suggestion and "I'll be there" responses welcome (since the
$DECIDED_VENUE will want some sort of estimated head-count).
