Ubuntu Australia LoCo Team Official Forum Thread

I have sent an email to Canonical stating my opinion on an official
thread for the Ubuntu Australia LoCo Team on the Ubuntu Forums. I know
we have been talking about it for sometime now but the idea seems to
have been swept under the carpet.

My email reads:

To Canonical,

As a member of the Ubuntu Australia LoCo Team - I propose to you the
concept of creating a dedicated Forum Thread for the Ubuntu Australia
LoCo Team.   There is more than enough members and support from the LoCo
Team. At present, we are limited to communicating directly with fellow
members via the mailing lists and IRC. This is quickly becoming a less
viable form of communication for our constantly growing and ever
enthusiastic community. We require something a little more convenient
than the ageing mailing list and IRC. Eg. Dedicated Forums Thread.

I feel strongly regarding this idea and figure if Canonical get enough
voices of opinion from us all, it may get the ball rolling.
