How to connect to bigpond?

Open Evolution ->Edit ->Preferences ->Mail Accounts

Is your address entered here?  If not, click on Add and fill in the details
on the next screen.

Server Type for Receiving is POP, for Sending it is SMTP.

If you have a tick in Remember Password, then Evolution will not prompt you
for one.

You are not setting up a new account but merely programming Evolution to
access the one that you already have.
