How to connect to bigpond?

I have already explained this to you, Robert.

You are on ADSL cable. So switch on your Router/Modem and start Ubuntu.
Ubuntu will make the ethernet link automatically.  If it does not we will
help you further.

For Evolution, your mailserver is POP, the mailserver's name is '
mail.bigpond.com', your account username is 'your email address', your
password is 'your password' and the outgoing mailserver name is '
mail.bigpond.com'.

You do NOT need the BigPond installation disk.
