LCA Open Day

Greetings all,

I'm in the process of organising us a booth/table/stall/whatever at the
LCA Open Day. I haven't got official confirmation yet, but I'd like to
organise asap :)

The Open Day is between 3pm and 8pm on Thursday Jan 18th. See

So, who will be able to put some time in at the booth? It'd be ideal to
have enough people volunteer, that everyone can still see the rest of
the cool stuff that we'll be surrounded by.

If we do get a booth (I'm pretty confident ;)), we will be running demos
(things lieke {aiglx,xgl}/{compiz,beryl}, Elephant's Dream, decent linux
games, flightgear, etc etc), so we'll need at least some volunteers who
can bring equipment.

Also, we will be handing out swag bags (CD, stickers, A4 poster(?),
information leaflet, ubuntu-au contact info) of Kubuntu, Ubuntu and
Edubuntu theming.

Other details are as yet undecided.

If those who can help could please _email me directly_, I would
appreciate it. We'll then discuss times, resources etc.
