Fwd: Ubuntu Marketing in Victoria

Sounds like an excellent idea. Unfortunately, I live up in Brisbane
but I'd be happy to help design posters, flyers and other mini
handouts. How quickly could shipit get you the CDs? Last time I
ordered them it took about 6 weeks, but I noticed something about
rapid shipping when needed for events. How do you intend to take a PC
running Ubuntu and make sure it comes back in one piece? Last time I
can remember, somebody tried that with Debian at the sunday markets
here in brisbane it came back running SUSE :)

Hi Guys,

Wanted to know if anyone in Victoria would be interested in getting a
stall at the Computer Swap Meets that are held most weekends around
Melbourne. I was thinking about getting some CDs sent from shipit to
have on a stand and also taking a PC with Ubuntu installed maybe running
some software to show off it's capabilities.
