In the new one, the background looks dim and we only see the ibex. With a wallpaper, I don't want to be distracted by the bottom-right, I don't think a part of the screen should be so contrasted. <br>

I much so prefer the older version too. This one just feels too..blah. As noted, it's a little less distracting and to that, looks to be a perfect candidate for wallpaper default. <br>
