[ubuntu-art] Beginner to Ubuntu Art!

Hi all,
  Am a final year B.E., CS student. I have some good experience in web
development.
You can view my work here:
1. www.thinkbigger.cu.cc which i designed only through coding!
2. www.wherecanyoulearn.tk - designed using CMS in google sites.

I know HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP and a bit of jQuery as well!

Please help in getting started in designing for Ubuntu! how do kick start
my designing work?
I am really a fan of Ubuntu and want to contribute to it how much ever is
possible from my side. Please... help me....
