Yes! Right now there are 63 bugs reported in the mono icon theme, and
many of these require new or tweaked icons. For example:

*   Something very simple to start with: the rain icon border is the
    wrong color. <http://launchpad.net/bugs/592402>

*   Something that causes problems in usability tests: the wired network
    icon isn't understandable. <http://launchpad.net/bugs/532522>

There are also 27 bugs reported in the Humanity icon theme. For example:

*   The warning icon doesn't use the Ubuntu font.

*   The Desktop folder icon has a white bar on it, and shouldn't.
