Faced with dates like 12/02/2011 I always have to wonder if it's
day/month/year or month/day/year.

We should standardize on one date format for the wiki. I propose ISO
8601, as it was created just for this reason. It's also great for
sorting.

As an example, today is: 2010-11-25
