[ubuntu-art] Wanted: Artwork for Ubuntu Software Center department screens

Hi folks

I'm not a regular on this list, so please forgive me if I get anything
wrong.

The Ubuntu Software Center developers are on a mission to make USC a joy
to use. We're doing this in several different ways: adding new features,
making it faster, making it more responsive, and running user tests and
fixing usability problems.

While we're doing all those things, we would also like to make USC
prettier. As part of that, we're considering adding some custom artwork
to each of the individual department screens -- "Games", "Internet",
"Sound & Video", and so on.

I have written up a design brief for this work.

I'd be delighted if anyone here can propose a beautiful style of artwork
we could use across these screens. Feel free to publish it wherever you
like, just reply here with a link to it.
