Actually, we often cover those with a specialized type of plastic wrap
called parafilm which is waxy and elastic so that when we stretch it tight
over the top, it contracts and forms an airtight seal around the top. It is
much easier to put on and take off than corks, less expensive to replace,
lower risk of contamination... so it's pretty much industry standard these
days.

So, if you want to make it say "science", you could definitely show the top
of the bottle covered in parafilm. (image attached)
