I had made some proposals in the light of the arrows above, but was not accepted. 

Think that the arrows should be consistent, and above all with correct
light or all with translucy efect.

green color it had reserved for other icon  "save as". with some
modifications to the arrow. 

The inspiration for red color comes from the gnome-colors and it works
very well.
