Hi all,

In case anyone didn't know this yet, there is an automatic way to get the 
latest Inkscape without having to do anything yourself (other than installing 
it, that is!).

https://launchpad.net/~inkscape-nightly is the newest source code, built every 
night, so you can always have the latest version. 

For Intrepid just add these software repositories:

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/inkscape-nightly/ubuntu intrepid main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/inkscape-nightly/ubuntu intrepid main

Other releases are supported as well, check out 
https://launchpad.net/~inkscape-nightly/+archive for more details (basically 
it is just replacing intrepid in the lines above with hardy or jaunty).
