[ubuntu-art] Jaunty Wallpaper

Hi all,

I realize that time is late, and we haven't had much of an organized effort for 
Jaunty. I tried to get approval for an alpha wallpaper, a process which is 
still underway after weeks of deliberation. Part of building a new team is 
organizing things while in motion...it is better not to make bad decisions 
than to make wrong ones. The Canonical design team is not fully formed yet and 
although we have several new people on board they've got their hands full and 
are still learning their way around an open source company. The entire team is 
very interested in interacting with and helping to steer the community but at 
this point they're happy if they remember where the printer is, not to mention 
how to make a conf call :)

The current status for Jaunty is as follows:

a) a decision concerning an alpha wallpaper using some form of one of the 
mascot pics from the wiki is coming soon.

b) we need your help with a wallpaper. 

more information can be found in the attached pdf. A lot of great information 
was used from the Kyudo project 
(https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Artwork/KyudoGuidelines). Check it out if you haven't 
already.

One thing to keep in mind when in the idea creation process is, perhaps, some 
of the new features coming to 9.04; the faster boot time, online services, as 
well as the new notification system.
