[ubuntu-art] Icons for Ubuntu

I have asked several excellent icon-makers if they would consider
creating content for Ubuntu.  Mostly, they expressed concerns over
being given some freedom over the look and feel.

The best icon-ographer that replied requested that I send him a list
of all the Icons, as well as a description of what they are for, and
he'd get back to me.

When creating an icon set for Ubuntu, what icons are typically in an
alternative set?

If I am to be his liason for the artwork list, I'll need to know what
I have to do to submit his work, if he agrees to participate.  He does
understand that this is un-compensated work that will be freely given
for all (Ubuntu users) to use.
