I know it might be beyond moot to keep bringing this up, as it was
already mentioned IN THIS THREAD, but do not top-post! (Also, is there
really no Thunderbird extension that can automatically switch between
top- and bottom-posting, depending on domain? That really surprises me!)

Personally I think these icons are looking gorgeous, and huge props
for the "from scratch" attitude.

My sole criticism would be that some color schemes aren't quite lush
enough. Take for example the F-Spot logo; I feel the purple should be
darker, as it would "pop" more. Same is true of the black bar at the
top of the notepad icon for text-editor. The best icons, IMO, are the
two dictionaries, optical drive 1, and the camera-photo one. All these
do a great job on leveraging color contrast to appeal to the eye.
