I will explain a my opinion regard ubuntuclearlooks-hardy theme.
My opinion is, why not use the radius-property (of the
clearlooks-engine) only in GtkMenu? Not in GtkMenuItem.

Secondly,
I think, why don't to make an alternative of the Ubuntu official theme?
That is to make a theme that is the same of default theme but with a
diverse color scheme (as gray+blue for example..or other color).
I don't think that it can be a great work.
The only problem is to decide if use alternative icons or not. In this
case must decide wich colors choose to be consistent with the icons of
Ubuntu theme.
