Welcome. Remember to create art that you love and don't take criticism too hard.

The people who reply to messages on this list don't get to control
what theme gets enabled by default. That said, if there were a vote
I'd vote for yours as having a the most promise.

I will try out your changes later tonight, I wanted to post this
though maybe you've fixed it with the lighter menus:

This is a picture of firefox. You'll see that I've dragged my
"bookmarks toolbar" up to the right of the "Help" menu. Therefore the
dark text is barely readable. Also, you can see the location drop down
in that image is very very hard to read because of the dark
background.
I will have some users test the narrow window borders. Visually I
think they look very good. There has been discussion about the narrow
borders making it difficult to resize windows - I think that's
possible but it may not actually hamper people in real life. Testing
will tell for sure.
Keep up the good work. I'd suggest creating an Ubuntu .deb package for
your theme and icons for intrepid (or hardy) so that people can
install it easily even if it doesn't go to main. It's one of the
nicest contributed themes and is one of the most usable dark themes
I've found.
There are only a few people here who have created .deb files
successfully so doing so would not only brand you as an extraordinary
artist but also land you among the ubuntu art-team elite. Recent
instructions can be found here:

posted by José Luis (thanks José!). They look simple enough.
