Hi Lasse,

Great to hear from you and thanks a lot for replying,

As mentioned you can have a look at our current interface here:
http://wubi-installer.org/screenshots.php

As you can see, other than the tango icons, there are only 3 graphics:

1. the` icon
2. the header bitmap
3. the vertical bitmap used in the finish page

You can get the files here:
http://codebrowse.launchpad.net/~lupin-team/wubi/devel/files/ecology%40feisty-20070816193754-thvffedti9tmi5qx?file_id=images-20070323003246-kfymva6ngvn1pjt3-1

Wubi will be run in 2 different modes:

1. Single installer, where you will only be able to select one distro,
and hence the branding should be specific to the distro

2. Multiple installer, where you will be able to select different
flavors (at the moment: ubuntu, kubuntu, xubuntu, edubuntu,
ubuntustudio and possibly fluxbuntu and mythbuntu). In this case we
can keep the current branding, or go with something different. The
idea behind the current logo is that ubuntu is the sun that shines in
the windows world, represented by the XP stylized desktop (the XP
graphics is also used to make users feel more at home). I also like a
logo that merges the chamaleon logo:
http://ubuntudaily.com/wp-content/uploads/chameleon_logo.png. Any
suggestion is most welcome.

The project is now part of this blueprint:
https://blueprints.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+spec/installer-for-windows

Feel free to forward the above to the ubuntu-artwork mailing list

Thanks again,

Ago
