I think Ubuntu goal is not being exactly like Ubuntu Studio. The goal is
Usabiliti+Identity. We can do that establishing some guidelines, and as I
said in another post, apps and actions should be coloured and folders,
mimetypes should have a matte colour with good contrast labels to recognize
their content/function.

That's ok. But those icons are hard to distinguish so they have to be
changed for Ubuntu, I thought they were some package icon. Of course you can
keep your default set with that icons but as long as they are under the GPL
Ubuntu can use a fork changing those icons. If you don't want to do it for
yourself I'm sure somebody will want to do it, but we need to discuss if we
need to or we don't. In my opinion, we have to change pc icon, trash icon,
hd icon and the mimetypes. Some are easy to distinguish if they're big, but
very hard to distinguish if they're small and not coloured. Otherwise folder
icons are great.
And the question is, ¿should we use this icon theme? If we're going to use
it, we have to start discussing what we're changing and what we are keeping.
