Yes they indeed look very well. Their artistic quality is not the 
question. But even beautiful things can be hard to use. To make an 
analogy: when people do housecleaning they don't wear evening dresses :-)

Polls are good to obtain the most popular preference. My concern is not 
about preferences at all. I'm talking about purely engineering problem: 
orange icons on orange folders next to each other make them less 
distinguishable.

In fact I can propose a way to improve it:

- make actual images inside circles colored
- make background smaller and less saturated
- move images to the left an up so they stick out the circle top left corner

The goal is to make the image a dominating part of an emblem but keep a 
background circle as a thing common to all emblems. What do you think 
about it?
