As I have recently added the artwork team as a bug contact to all  
artwork related packages (thanks Daniel) we now have a fairly  
complete list of what bugs we can solve at the moment:
https://launchpad.net/people/ubuntu-art/+assignedbugs

Maybe you can take a peek at that list and see if there is anything  
that fits into your areas of expertise? Just chime in on the bug  
report and try fixing it. If you have a patch or some artwork for the  
fix, you can attach it to the bug report. The Right People will them  
pick it up.
