what about xubuntu and edubuntu? also please make sure that the themeing
process and how to change the theme is well documented, there are a
bunch of derivatives that will want to change it as well, the oo.o
package needs to provide an opportunity to do so...

    I've created a version of the OOo splash for edubuntu. 
    Xubuntu doesn't use OOo but Abiword.
