Ken,

Thanks for thinking of the Marketing Team. Things are really starting to
heat up and they/we really needs the your/Art Team's help.

I'm not familiar with how the team is organized but I see two general
needs.

1. Software designs and images. This would include icons, wallpapers,
and the like. Little marketing interaction required here.

2. Commercial art. This would include cartoons, logos, and other product
related images. Lots of marketing interaction here.

Marketing realizes they can not go this alone and IMO it makes sense to
have all of the artwork flow through the Art team.

I would encourage you to submit your promotional ideas to the marketing
team for their consideration. IMO it makes sense to flow these ideas
through the Marketing team.

I also encourage all who have the time to tune into the ubuntu magazine
IRC on 18 Jul, 20:00 UTC.
