But I overheard on ubuntu-devel (when the high-resolution thing was 
figured out) that even though it can run in a higher-resolution 
framebuffer now, you still are only allowed to use 14 color images 
because of the limitations in the image format used in Usplash (bogl)...

Or, has the format changed suddenly without my knowledge?
