Answer from JoE per PM: I like the idea of using the ubuntu-style icons for gaim as the default ubuntu set. Works for me, surely. though it toes us into a similar ubuntu lok to the old (which i am in favor of since I love it, but I want it to be clear). if we move away from the "classic" ubuntu look then the theme wouldn't make any sense.
