For my main "production" machine, a Core i7 T420, I have reluctantly
moved off Ubuntu and I am now using MX Linux on that machine instead. MX
23.3 uses the current LTS-kernel-before last, Linux 6.1.x, and the
nVidia legacy drivers still work on that kernel.
