You have been subscribed to a public bug by Lucas Kanashiro (lucaskanashiro):

src:puppet and its binaries (puppet, puppet-master, puppet-master-
passenger) were removed from Debian unstable and testing:

https://tracker.debian.org/news/1367685/puppet-removed-from-testing/
https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/puppet

Let's do the same, import src:puppet-agent which contains just the
client code now and get rid off src:puppet which contains an old version
of the client and server.

$ reverse-depends -r lunar puppet-master-passenger
$ reverse-depends -r lunar puppet-master
Reverse-Depends
* mcollective-plugins-puppetca

Packages without architectures listed are reverse-dependencies in: amd64, arm64, armhf, i386, ppc64el, s390x
$ reverse-depends -r lunar mcollective-plugins-puppetca
No reverse dependencies found
$ reverse-depends -r lunar src:mcollective-plugins
No reverse dependencies found
$ reverse-depends -r lunar src:mcollective-plugins -a source
No reverse dependencies found

The new src:puppet-agents still provides puppet as a transitional
package and the new one is called puppet-agent, I do not foresee any
issue with reverse dependencies using the puppet binary.

Summary: first lets sycn src:puppet-agent from Debian and then remove
src:puppet and its binaries and src:mcollective-plugins and its
binaries.

** Affects: puppet (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
