Hello,
I would like to request the removal of src:libnfsidmap and its binaries
from jammy, and that its sync from Debian be blocked. It was
incorporated[1] in the new nfs-utils version[2] I uploaded.
src:libnfsidmap produces:
- bin:libnfsidmap-dev
- bin:libnfsidmap2
These are replaced by src:nfs-utils':
- bin:libnfsidmap-dev
- bin: libnfsidmap1 (yes, the soname "downgrades". It was incorrectly set to 2 in the src:libnfsidmap build, where it should have been 0)
Reverse dependencies of src:libnfsidmap build fine with the binary
packages produced by src:nfs-utils[3]
A more detailed history/explanation can be seen in this ubuntu-devel
post[4]
