You have been subscribed to a public bug by Bryce Harrington (bryce):

gudev-sharp-1.0 is a gobject wrapper around udev that was required for
banshee and brought in with its MIR in 2010:

    https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gudev-
sharp-1.0/+bug/607291/comments/20

Banshee stopped being included in Ubuntu as of Disco:

    https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/banshee/+publishinghistory

A gudev-sharp-3.0 was introduced in 2013 and included in Ubuntu.
Unfortunately both gudev-sharp-1.0 and -3.0 provide a binary named
monodoc-gudev-manual, and recently Debian did a no-change rebuild of
gudev-sharp-1.0, which has caused a publication failure:

    https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gudev-
sharp-1.0/0.1-4.1/+latestbuild/amd64

    $ grep Package: gudev-sharp-1.0-0.1/debian/control
    Package: libgudev1.0-cil
    Package: libgudev1.0-cil-dev
    Package: monodoc-gudev-manual

    $ grep Package: gudev-sharp-3.0-3.0.0/debian/control
    Package: libgudev3.0-cil
    Package: libgudev3.0-cil-dev
    Package: monodoc-gudev-manual

Nothing actually depends on gudev-sharp-1.0:

    $ apt-cache rdepends libgudev1.0-cil-dev
    libgudev1.0-cil-dev
    Reverse Depends:
    $ apt-cache rdepends libgudev1.0-cil
    libgudev1.0-cil
    Reverse Depends:
      libgudev1.0-cil-dev
    $ apt-cache rdepends monodoc-gudev-manual
    monodoc-gudev-manual
    Reverse Depends:

Please go ahead and remove gudev-sharp-1.0's binary packages and source
package from impish and blacklist them from syncing back in from Debian.

(Note, near as I can tell gudev-sharp-3.0 can go too, it also seems
entirely unused by anything, however the problem at hand can be resolved
by just removing one or the other.)

** Affects: gudev-sharp-1.0 (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
