RM openwsman - obsolete, lack of maintaince
openwsman, software appears to be undermaintained in Ubuntu. It is only
packaged in Ubuntu, in universe, without any (remaining) community
developers tending to its maintainance.
It is behind a few upstream releases, and now FTBFS (as it needs newer
releases for ruby2.5, and openssl1.1 support).
It does not appear to be used widely on the Ubuntu platform, or if it is
used - using this old version of this software is not recommended.
If there is interest to maintain this software, and/or commercial
engagements to support this software, it could be reintroduced to
ubuntu, with proper maintainance, updates and security support. Until
such time, it is best not to ship knowingly obsolete software.
** Affects: openwsman (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
