python-poppler is scheduled for removal from Debian Testing soon. We
should remove python-poppler before Ubuntu 18.04 LTS's release so that
we don't have to support the unmaintained bindings longer.
It has 3 reverse-depends:
- gourmet
- lernid
- pdfshuffler
Original Bug Report
===================
python-poppler will be removed from Debian and Ubuntu soon. Please don't have lernid depend on python-poppler.
It is instead recommended to switch to gtk3 and GObject Introspection
bindings. (The poppler package is gir1.2-poppler-0.18). This will also
enable you to re-enable Terminal (LP: #1739621) and WebKit (LP:
#1591343) support.
