You have been subscribed to a public bug by Hans Joachim Desserud (hjd):

At the moment, the following packages all fail to build from source because they depend on libjenkins-plugin-parent-java which is unavailable:
jenkins-ant-plugin
jenkins-antisamy-markup-formatter-plugin
jenkins-mailer-plugin
jenkins-matrix-auth-plugin
jenkins-matrix-project-plugin

Their common dependency, libjenkins-plugin-parent-java, is part of the
Jenkins source package which has been removed from Ubuntu (bug 1294005)
due to "numerous security vulnerabilities, too difficult to maintain in
a
distribution;"(https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/jenkins/+publishinghistory)

Since Jenkins is missing, these packages have never built successfully on Ubuntu, and thus have remained unbuilt in -proposed.
All packages are plugins for Jenkins so I doubt they would be useful on their own. So at the moment they only pad out the list of build failures (http://qa.ubuntuwire.com/ftbfs).

I therefore believe these packages can be removed. If Jenkins would be
reintroduced to the archives in the future, then these plugins might
become relevant again, but it should be easy to resync them in such a
case.
